PARTNERSHIP WITH PURPOSE
Coordination of services for children with emotional disturbances and their families is integral in achieving positive outcomes. If services are not coordinated, children and their families will continue to fall through the cracks. Our partners understand the importance of care coordination in reducing mental health stigma in communities as the most effective way to improve children’s emotional health.

These reactions are common response to an extraordinary situation. While most people recover after disasters by drawing on their own strengths and the support of others, and most will gradually rebuild their lives and achieve a sense of well-being again; some struggle to return to previous levels of functioning and will need emotional support to recover.
